Hampton Inn Evansville

Very comfortable and the location was great

I didn't have a dislikes

Breakfast was great, staff was friendly, and hotel was very clean.

Having a very busy steak house right next door made for a busy driveway.

I loved the decor of the hotel. The staff was very nice. I also loved the area in which the hotel was - there were lots of places to eat and shop.

I didn't know there was a soccer tournament in town this weekend - lots o kids mulling in the lobby.

We loved staying in this exceptionally clean hotel. The breakfast was hot, the personnel was very very helpful. This was an absolutely perfect and magnificent location near restaurants and shopping malls. It also was close to the airport.

No complaints.

I think that this was the nicest bunch of employees I have ever met. Everyone from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the lady that takes care of maintaining the breakfast buffet, to the guys that empty garbage-asked us if our stay was enjoyable and if we needed anything. Will definitely stay again.

Exceptionally comfortable and appealing hotel, had really good stay.

The location in a shopping area was perfectly comfortable and excellent

The breakfast spread was great, and the pool area was perfect for hanging out. We visited the local casino and the Evansville African American Museum, both were highlights of our trip.

It was somewhat inconvenient, especially for check-in.

The location, facilities, and amenities were good. Housekeeping was poor - the room had visible dust in the bathroom near the towels that you could write your name in. Crumbs on the floor that were never picked up. No children were in the room and there were children's handprints on the window that were not removed in the course of a 5 night stay.

I asked to speak to the manager and was told he (Josh?) also manages the nearby Residence Inn and was unavailable. I asked Lois at the desk to have him contact me re the housekeeping concerns that I shared with Lois. I did not hear from him on Mon, Tue, Wed. Called again on Wed night and talked to Cassie who told me she would leave a note on his door to call on Thur., because I wanted to give him a chance to respond before writing a review. I was never contacted, so I assume customer service is not a priority. Would not book this hotel again for that reason.

The hotel's decor was charming and cute. The accessible areas were well organized, and the friendly staff always offered assistance whenever I needed it.

Add more seating options in common areas.

The Hampton is an excellent choice in Evansville. The hotel is lovely, quiet, and very clean. The staff is excellent and very personable. The manager, Brandon is a Great guy. We stayed there about a month ago, and he remembered us a month later. A great experience. I will always stay at this hotel when traveling to Evansville where my daughter attends college. It is like a home away from home!

The stay was decent, but it had its ups and downs. The staff were friendly, and I especially appreciated the clean King room and the nearby restaurants that offered great discounts. Fortunately, the atmosphere was charming and welcoming.

The Hampton Inn Evansville was beautifully decorated and cute, with well-organized common areas that were easily accessible. The staff was great, always available to provide assistance whenever I needed it .

More seating options in common areas would help seniors.
